Monday: Sylvia Hotel

We met up with V and E tonight for Langzhou noodles - no, I wasn't entirely sure what they were either but they were very tasty and wholesome.  Basically, Chinese noodles with toppings, either dry or in a broth - you can also choose the thickness.  It's a new place we went to, on Denman.

It was such a pleasant evening that we walked along the waterfront to the Sylvia Hotel, where we repaired for a cocktail.  It's a wonderful place - completely from a bygone era.
