All's well that's Stair Well

Looking up from the ground floor in the Historium in the square in Brugge. This was touted as a walk through the history of the city but was a really dumbed down offering that told us very little at all about the history of the city which is a shame as I'm sure there is lots to tell. Of greatest interest was this stairwell which was lit by the most impressive beer fridge imaginable. Made to look like a chandelier made out of full Duvel bottles, but it was an open chiller. It was raised to ceiling height but could be lowered and bottles can be removed. When a bottle is removed, the light becomes brighter, it's like a primitive dimmer switch that gets you drunk.
