Brittany definitely is a land of cycling. After the Kreiz Breizh Elite at the end of July, the Grand Prix de Plouay is an attraction on the last weekend in August. And it always comes round our way, although we'd never been around to see it.

This was taken a ten-minute drive from home, in the same village as this.

The race used to be called the Grand Prix de Plouay. Since it's been upgraded to UCI level, it's also been renamed: it's now the Bretagne Classic, in "perfect" Frenglish...
