Fungi/Lichen

I found this today it's on our rather large
Yew tree in the middle of the garden it's
on one of the trunks, I say one because
this type of Yew tree has many trunks
common yew trees have one main trunk
we have trimmed this one a few times
and have to tie it up otherwise it blocks
out the sun, eeerm when we get sun...
It's supposed to be unlucky to cut them
down
It's much milder today no wind and dry
supposed to be even nicer tomorrow I
