Ganesh
A strange world, having seen off a special friend a very dear and special friend this morning from the train station, I had plans to pop in to my local supermarket and buy some odds and ends and then to get my hair cut, and finally on to the bank to deposit my birthday money given to me by my Mum and Dad, best layed plans and all that, passing a rather interesting antique shop on the way to the bank I spied a rather nice Indian figure in the window, you guest it in I go, How Much !!!! Flipping Heck excuse my French, are but the is this one also said the shop keeper, Ganesh I've always loved this particular Deity by being quite closely related/intertwined with the Buddhist faith, Sorry Blippers I failed, he so needed a loving home how could I leave him there, he is now resplendent in his new home, funny thing is I looked up Ganesh a little more when I got home only to fined out August/September is Ganesh Chaturthi a Hindu ten day festival that reveres Ganesha Hindus welcom statues of the deitys into there homes, my bank balance may not be quite what I was hoping but my spiritual side is very content.
