Menai Straits: Prince Madog

A melancholy day. Waved our sailor off at the start of a long flight to Hong Kong where he joins his ship for 5 or 6 months at sea. Driving back, stopped in Menai Bridge village and had a walk along the Straits - thought it fitting to have a maritime theme to today's blip.

This is Bangor University's research vessel Prince Madog which appeared in the Straits Regatta blip in early August.
