your local store no more

I've revisited a site that is calamitously no more, with the intention of shooting a particular view of it. But it is just not passing muster. Twice now I've shot this other scene and it was not quite right twice. Might give it one more go, but figure that this place is not long for the wrecking crew. However this shot came along nicely.

Still, there's something so mournful about burnt buildings. Maybe that's the problem. I want to record something that is a little off kilter, but we have a whole different relationship with burnt things.
