Hot Dog

It was unbelievably hot today, and as I wasn't due to start work until 2pm I decided to head down to the Lido for an early morning swim so I could properly try out the wetsuit. I swam 1km and it was fine, but I decided not to go any further as I didn't want to be too tired to work!

When I got back I took the boys out for a walk but we didn't go too far as it was already too warm for them and they kept darting in the shade of parked cars. As soon as we got home, they lay on the cool tiles in the utility room, and then joined me in garden where it was shaded - this is Milou looking rather hot!

It was still 24 degrees when I came out of work at 8pm, but apparently it's all going to change tomorrow - we've lots of rain forecast!
