A long awaited hospital appointment.

Tomorrow I have an appointment with a hip surgeon for a second opinion at Wrightington Hospital just south of Preston which is just under two hours away from our home just outside of Cockermouth. As the appointment is early in the morning we decided we would travel down the night before so that we didn't get stuck in early morning traffic.

So we booked ourselves and our camper van into a nearby campsite and dropped Honey off at the kennels along the way. Poor Honey, she thought she was going on holiday! She has a seat belt harness and sits up in the front seat as you can see.

So we're now cosied up in our van after a nice dinner, I've crammed up on my notes and we'll see what tomorrow brings. Watch this space ...
