Leaving The Lagoon

Various boats were heading out from the lagoon this morning. I was on hand to capture some images, something I have done many times before. I think familiar subjects demand new ways of seeing if I intend to keep my journal fresh and my lovely wife, who often reviews the photos, tells me I have been taking some great images lately, inadvertently upping the pressure to post something good. I'm not sure if this selective color technique qualifies as something good, but I really didn't want that orange shirt to be black and white which worked so well throughout the rest of the image.
