Yay!!
In Maori, Tahunanui translates as 'Big Sands'
Tahunanui Beach was big enough today to hold a couple of hundred holidaymakers, half a dozen kitesurfers, a few dozen seagulls, my 300 blip sand engraving............and there was still room left over for you if you wanted to come over and join us!
So, here it is......... The time seems to have whizzed by and I can hardly believe I've made it to 300 uninterrupted blips. The site concept is magical - quite unique - and my thanks have to go, of course, to Joe, King Blipper and creator of this site and his blip-central workforce who do a magnificent job in keeping the site running. Changes are afoot, but it is my sincere hope that the essence of this community is retained.
Of course, my staying power has really been fuelled by everyone else here in this wonderful community who has commented, critiqued or simply looked in. Sadly, a number of those people are no longer blipping which saddens me greatly - but I do understand their decisions.
I'm very much looking forward to my next 65 days.........although I think I may struggle with the return to work after a year off!! Blipping will be my escape from the drama of real life!!!
