Hello?

I was so surprised to see this little fledgling.  Actually, there were about 3 or 4 of them, keeping their mama busy.  Pretty darn cute!

In the extra, is one of the many murals from Montreal. I took this on my way down to the Port, where the tourists industry is booming.  Lots of amazing food trucks, restaurants, specialty shops in Old Montreal...all that you would expect and more.  On the way back to our hotel, we passed by this same building. When we passed by the windows, we saw how crowded it was inside with people eating, and then we passed the alley by the mural. There was a line up that snaked down to the end of the building and back and then down the sidewalk for quite a distance.  This is where a soup kitchen is located and it was sobering knowing that only a few blocks away, there are people frivolously spending money. It is so easy to see the beauty, much harder to face the reality.
