Dead ends allow for another journey

I am sure like me sometimes you come up against it. When you thought all was going well, there is a diversion. It can be physical, as in the picture, or metaphorical, when we are faced with difficult decisions. Here in the place I call home, we face another diversion sign or red light in our local politics. We can treat such "dead ends" either as opportunities for some creative thinking or as impasses which are intractable. I prefer to see diversions as opportunites to enjoy the scenery of a road less travelled.  So, when you next see this sign, take a deep breath and just imagine the new opportunities that exist on that road less travelled.
