Leaves From The Tree, Aylesford
Wet and wild, autumnal feeling day today. On Sunday it felt like the middle of a hot spell of summer and yet today could not be more different. In a strange way that's what I love about the British weather - it's contrary, sudden switches and feel. Today's shot is actually an old decaying carpet with a small twig from a nearby hedge which happened to blow past and land on the heavier, exposed underlay. To me it looked like being in the centre of a stormy landscape, the tree stripped bare by a howling wind.
