Gabriola Island - last day

*backblip - just about forgot!

Our days on the island were so relaxed and yet we saw and did a lot!  (If that makes sense?)  Our kids had wanted to take us to all their favourite places and I think they saved the best for last!  One of Gabriola's main natural attractions is the rock formation called the Malaspina Galleries.  The sandstone rock along the coastline has been eroded by surf and frost and creates the illusion of walking underneath a frozen wave.  Very cool!
