The correct name for these crimson flowers is Pavonia Multiflora ..... not to be found in my garden but in the Glasshouses in Glasgow's Botanic Gardens.

So many people in the gardens today but it was only as we walked up to the glasshouses we saw the entrance to Jurassic Kingdom .... Where Dinosaurs Come to Life - it's an all new animatronic outdoor dinosaur experience.

Only the under threes had free admission. The sound effects were very loud and I think quite frightening for the very young. It certainly wasn't for for us.
