Provisions

We walked into the centre of the city today, and picked up some bits and pieces that were needed for the apartment. Like sharp knives, for example. It's a good walk. I'll soon be doing it twice a day.

We sorted out our travel cards at the station, and I also managed to sort out - with the help of our relocation assistant - how to activate the Finnish sim card, in case we need a Finnish phone number. We were pleased with our mini-achievements.

Back to the supermarket to pick up some more supplies, and we also (sort of) cooked this evening. I say "sort of" as it didn't really involve food preparation, but it was slightly more enterprising than Monday. We are sufficiently relaxed this evening to have broken open the duty free Jura for a late evening snifter, whilst exploring further options for "fun" over the next few weeks. We've fixed a wee weekend away and we're looking at jazz clubs now.
