Hollyhock
As the weather wasn’t that good this morning I thought I’d have a play with my 100-300 lens and a 10 mm extension tube. I found that at 300 mm with the extension tube it gives me a focusing range of about 12 to 15 feet. I also found that the background is smoothed into something like a studio backdrop rather than a bokeh.
My contribution for today is a single hollyhock (whose scientific name is Alcea) so is for Wide Angle Wednesday and also for Wild Wednesday as this is self-sown and in my eyes wild.
