Building The Bridge

So they opened the new Queensferry Crossing in the early hours of today, a building project lasting 6 years and one that I have been fascinated with (and blipped) on my travels to Fife and back.

It shuts again on Friday to prepare for 50,000 people to walk across it on Saturday and Sunday (hence the invitation blip above), then the Queen on Monday, then 10,000 locals and schoolchildren on Tuesday before opening up on Thursday again for good.

I think blip might be chocca with blips of it in the coming days...
