just checking !

Tramping across the Spaarndam polder near Haarlem and watching the planes coming into land at Schiphol airport we spotted these (? young Egyptian) geese. They were about to take off from the bank when I took this photo. However, it was not until I was looking at possible blips later in the day that we realised something strange was happening in this picture. The head of one goose was upside down ... obviously in charge of checking the busy skies above before allowing a safe take off.

I had taken several views as possible blips but in the end the odd goose won.
