Merdeka!

37 lengths this morning and I saw a flight go over in 60 formation. Public Holiday so loads of folk off.

Came back up and watched the parade on tv. Being so close to the city centre the helicopters and jets flew overhead. #1 son was a bit concerned that all the platform party eg Agong and PM Najib (of MB1 fame) were in military uniform.

Last night Malaysia won the SEA Games and Najib designated Monday a Public Holiday. This has caused confision and constermation

A lull and then to Publika for late lunch in a Korean cafe with kids' play area. Olivia's birthday present was bought.

Home to look at the moon and eat. There were a few fireworks. Oh and Amelia had her first 'proper' food, organic baby rice. A milestone.
