DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS . . .

So today we walked to Ilfracombe, for a trip on the Ilfracombe Princess to see the seals, with commentary from the captain and a crazy lady?!?

Next we walked to the tunnel beaches hacked out by the Victorians. Two areas each had huge manmade lagoons one for the men and the other for the ladies to have separate bathing.

We had a “fine dining” tea in The Admiral Collingwood, before finally mentally scaring the children for life in the evening!!! If we’d have known the local amateur dramatics production of “murder at middle bottomley” required a certain amount of audience participation we almost certainly wouldn’t have gone (and the audience would have been slashed by a quarter!)  But then we would have missed the best laugh in ages at the phenomenally crude Andy Pandy sketch, and also the look of utter horror on the offspring’s faces when one of the more flamboyant thespians tried to interact with us!!!!
