Pure brilliant white gloss.

The panels date from around 1870.

I put a coat of gloss on the first set of panels this morning and this afternoon cycled out to Wickes to get a match pot and a couple of other bits and pieces. 

I think the weekend is going to be a bit busy for painting so I'll pick up where I left off on Monday.
