Poor Man's Macro

After yesterday's abstract blip, I decided to post a super sharp shot today. Of course, with the rain still falling (it finally stopped a little before dinner) it had to be a raindrop photo. Lacking a real macro lens I had to shoot as close as my 70-200mm would allow and then crop like crazy. That doesn't lead to the clearest of images (nor does handholding at 1/50 of a second), but it is possible to see the palapa and greenery reflected in the three big drops shown here so I guess it is good enough. Two days of rain enforced idleness is enough to make an active person go nuts. Hoping for sunshine tomorrow.
