Retreat

Inside i heard this little voice say, retreat, retreat...

I guess it's a case of practice what you preach!

The timing was perfect. I created my own retreat here, a beautiful 5 bedroom old Farmhouse, complete with AGA, Dogs, Hens and Guinea Pigs.

Sometimes you just need a quiet place to be still. I found it. Perfect timing.

My friend Bod passed away today, he's in his forties 'Cancer' you know how it is. I don't like how it is, but I'm being with how it is and could think of no better Sanctuary than this.

I'm feeling like i need a Dog in my life but I'm just a little bit too busy for one permanent, if only I could share the responsibility maybe then I could have a Dog, or maybe I can have one anyway. Who knows...
 Better sell the house first. Ramble over!

In the meantime, isn't it beautiful here... this is the morning view en route for a cup of coffee fresh from the hen shed with hands full of eggs.
