Seeing Red

H saw and pointed out these freshly painted steps to me on our walk this morning…just wet with a slight mizzle which a bit later could be called RAIN!…but only a little.   Then the sun came out.

The event of the day was the Apple genius bar  (sad I know)—-H decided to come out to do some of his errands then and then we could finish with the grocery store.  Big mistake.  He has NO patience for electronics and even tho he got his iPhone (my old iPhone 6) which wasn’t holding a charge, replaced at the phone store,  (well, it’s getting sent) , and a trip to Good Will with an old tv, and gas for the car and a trip to the drug store,   ,he hates waiting and even being near the Apple Store.    After waiting 30 min after my appt time, i got the same genius I had the last time  (aug 6)  altho I didn’t remember him—but he did as he remembered my issues with the”remote” island etc.    He refused to give me a new computer —-“yet”—- til he tries everything first.    OK, after some more testing, we decided to reinstall the OS.   Which takes awhile .  So I take a break and go look for H whom I can’t call because his phone is dead.   I even got him a coffee.  finally see him coming from the Apple Store, looking for me., I was at the phone store:-)   But he’s seeing red, (not I—I was resigned to the time…)  and not happy to be waiting for the D… laptop.   so I send him to the grocery store with a wee list.    Actually the laptop was ready then so I could catch up with the shopping and now I’m using it to put the last 2 weeks of photos on!   It took it 10 days to fail again the last time…so we’ll see.   

Isn’t this ridiculous?       Do I really want a new Apple iPad for my birthday?
