Tidying the street

I've blipped the flowers/weeds growing in our street more than once this summer. We even got involved in a conversation with a neighbour when we were outside painting the front of the house a week or so ago. I was able to confirm that the council had indeed sent a couple of men round the streets with weed-sprayers as promised. Today the street maintenance crew were back to clear the gulleys, hence the no loading signs all down the street. It does look a lot tidier, and the flowers had all died back naturally anyway.
