A brief respite

Late this afternoon the sun came out. I grabbed my camera and made the short journey to Bolton Abbey. I did intend more water shots (the water under the bridge was quite dramatic) but the sky behind the Abbey caught my eye. I took two shots - one in colour and one in B&W with a red filter applied. I think I prefer the latter, its more brooding and seems more in keeping with the weather we've just had.
