Pooh.

Flower Friday.

I thought that I had lost this dahlia. ( called " Pooh") as, over the winter,most of the tuber had gone rotten .
However when we came back from holiday, in June, I noticed a small green shoot, and today the first flower has opened. Already visited by a few bees, which flew off at the sight of my camera.
There are quite a few buds to come out too. So hopefully it will go on flowering for a few weeks longer.

A nice warm day with plenty of sun.
Even got some washing dry, and more gardening done.
Also the usual weekend shopping.
