By the river

Went for a walk along the river today.  There aren't many flowers left down there now, mostly only this bright yellow fleawort, some equally bright purple loosestrife and a few stalks of meadowsweet - though I do see some figwort in this blip, which I didn't notice through the lens   :-/

It's been the most beautiful day, warm and blue, but definitely a touch of autumn.  September, eh?  But the end of the week - yay!!
