True Hero

A lovely afternoon spent walking around Norland completing the scarecrow trail, now in it's 19th year! Over those years it has raised £59,000 for various local charities - amazing.

The theme this year was superheroes and villains. The selection of scarecrows was wide and varied including Batman, Spiderman, Hannah Cockcroft the Paralympian, Florence Nightingale and a token Donald Trump!! An impressive display of Paw Patrol characters and Iron Man surrounded by ironing boards and irons no less!!

However, I think my favourite is this soldier within a field of poppies. The window behind read True Hero which says it all. Each poppy was made from perspex, an incredible effort and very effective!
