The Temple of Virtue, at Stowe landscape garden.

Volunteering day at Stowe. 

Before we started our grass mowing we went to this temple to look at the huge cavern beneath the building which was part of a water storage and pumping system installed many years age. Work is ongoing to investigate the reasons for the water store and it will feature in a TV programme sometime in the winter.
