Wallbridge Lock during the Fringe Festival

The Stroud Fringe Festival runs all weekend with many sites all around the town centre. The main stage in Bank Gardens was a bit busy for us after our stay in Dorset fields for the last few days, so Helena and I walked down to see what the stage by Brewery Bridge was like.

It too was busy but the musical accompaniment wasn't to my taste so we headed back into the town centre. As we set off I stopped on the bridge over the Stroudwater Canal and looked at the newly rebuilt Wallbridge lock area. It was delightful to see people with their feet in the water just lying around having fun.
