Old houses

Our new neighbours are discovering the delights of owning an old house.  The simple act of lighting a fire has led to the discovery of a collapsed chimney and a need for a new plan involving a stove and a new chimney liner.  The liner was installed today and its fitting made me smile.
Slow but determined progress on the log store roof.  I haven't discovered what I've done wrong yet.
