Cool morning

Autumn is waiting in the wings.  The air was cold this morning and there was a deep mist in the valley below the village. The swifts were gathering in large numbers ready to migrate south, they obviously knew that it is the 1st of September.  We went for a walk up the hill to Saint Laurent les Tours.  The tourists have clearly gone as our car was the only one in the car park (extra).  Otherwise it was a bitty day.  I tried to settle to some desk work, but seemed to have zero concentration span, so I fiddled about at bits of DIY and gardening.  Hopefully the brain fade will fade away tomorrow!
