Flower Friday

The sunflower field is past it's prime, but still very colorful.  Those heavy heads are drooping, drooping.  We had a Rotary meeting there today and I learned that the seeds will not be harvested until late fall/early winter.  They were planted by a corn planter and will be harvested by a corn picker.  More of the field in the extra.
