When R called in last night to collect the girls, she brought me a bouquet of roses. Beautiful colour and form, a pleasure to receive.

We had a good morning until Amber swallowed a bone!! Phone call to the vet for advice, she was totally unconcerned and her usual bouncy self. Trip to have an X-ray at 3pm (in extras), which shows the item. Advice given is to monitor her carefully. It should be digested by the gastric juices and then passed.

Brownie points to the nurses who persuaded her to lie still whilst they did the X-ray. She certainly didn't sit still whilst she played with both vets and an assortment of nurses who all think that she is a poppet!!

She is now lounging in Pippa's bed. Not sure what she will think about that when she next visits!!!
