Up and up and up.....

Oh what puffing and panting in the bosom of the Peak District.  You can just about see what is left of Peveril Castle on the left here and down that path round the bend is the oh so pretty little village of Castleton where suitable refreshments were partaken.  Underfoot are the vast Peak Cavern caves..... but I'm not going there! 
Extra is a view from Mam Tor....all the bumpy bits are the results of little landslips over the years.  See the picnickers on top of one of them?
What a lovely area the Peak District is.....here for Chatsworth Country Fair... hoping the balloons get off the ground this year!
