Boardwalk in September

Friday.

First fifth day of cycle commuting this week. The rain stopped before I left the house. Wet roads on the ride in made it a.bit dicey in places, but at least the patches of diesel were small and visible.

A quick lunchtime walk down to Inverleith pond. It is quite quiet as the schools finish early on Friday. Just like the summer holidays.

Nothing in the wild area of the pond. But the boardwalk looks good. There are few juvenile gulls, These fly off as I walk along the boardwalk, and back to the office.

A busy afternoon, and its good to leave the office. A nice ride home. Coolish, dry, sunny and blue skies.
