Perpignan? No, Narbonne!

We said adios to Cadaques and got on the motorway and decided we'd visit Perpignan on the way back to Barcelona. Mum-in-law was comfortably settled in the back of the car and we headed off. However, Bb and I make such a great driving team that we somehow missed the exit for Perpignan and before we knew it we were heading for Narbonne! So what was going to be just an afternoon visit became an overnight stay by the time we got there! Jean was quite oblivious in the back and delighted with the unexpected French visit. The sun was shining when we walked out late afternoon for a little explore. Here's a shot taken of the Canal de La Robine, which runs through the centre of the city.
