Spring/Winter

A double exposure of the blossom on the tree and the carpet of petals on the grass which look like snow.   The messy look of this is like the weather today.  A cold wind which kept the temperature at 9c of 42f.  
This afternoon we went to visit our friend who is 90  and in full time care.  It is three months since we have seen him and he has lost a lot of weight but the sharp wit is still there.  His wife has had some special photos combined into collages and framed in plan white frames.  They look amazing and provide a talking point.  The facility he is in is near the site of the former Wigram Air Force base.  There are some interesting 
b  & w photos of the planes and pilots.  Our friend is interested in flying and they hold his interest and he can still tell us stories.  
Following this I went to the movies with my daughter and son in law.  We are all readers of Steven King novels and with some trepidation went to the Dark Tower movie.  The critics have not been kind but we enjoyed it which was good for us.  Some in the audience even clapped at the end.
