The path ahead is blocked

Rich and I went out for a walk along the Water of Leith today, we came across this heron on the path and he was not in the mood to move. We almost walked right up to him before he took off. The Water of Leith was very high and it looked like it had been over the bank at some point during the morning but had gone down a little. Maybe it was not a good day's hunting for him and he hoped to find a mouse or something on the riverbank.

Busy at work, still not sure what I am doing but I am sure I will get there.
