Things hoped for.....

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.


Not everyone, of course, would buy into the proposition of the writer of the Letter to the Hebrews.


But we can all embrace an understanding that life is most fully lived when there is the oxygen of hope..... for whatever is  your particular subject of hope.


This rosebud has the potential to bring joy and a smile.....indeed it already does.


And as it will one day wither on the stalk.....well that is its nature.   Different people will see different truths in that.


But for the moment we - secular or spiritual - can agree that here is a tender symbol of hope.   And smile.
