Boston: Harvard University

A considerably duller day today so my pictures of Harvard Yard and the university buildings are not brilliant. This however is the statue of John Harvard whose estate enabled the university to flourish in its early days. Harvard is situated in the community of Cambridge so named as John Harvard was a Graduate of Emmanuel college.
Clam chowder for lunch today followed by a walk on Boston Common.
