Paralympics

Somehow all of us managed to awake early. Our ticket said we should aim to get to the stadium 2hours early. Seeing as it started at 10am and we had over an hours journey to get to the Olympic Stadium this was never going to happen. In actual fact we turned up about 11.30am! But it was perfect for Elodie-I don't think she could have coped with 3 hours of Athletics,2 was most definately her limit.
Such a gorgeous summers day.The sun was scorching and it really felt like we were on holiday. The vibe in the stadium was really good and it felt good to be part of the Olympic spirit. Elodie meanwhile enjoyed spotting the planes flying overhead and joining in with the clapping.
We whiled away the rest of the afternoon by the river in some shade. It was so hot. Elodie snoozed and it was nice to have some down time with P. A good day.
