Two Bubbly Blondes...
Lola and Natasha.
Today we said goodbye to Natasha. She's one of the Agency Support Workers who's been coming in to support Alan for about a year. She officially qualifies as a nurse next week and is no longer allowed to do support work.
She has been absolutely wonderful with Alan (and she's a dog lover :-) and we are all going to miss her so much. Her calm manner, her sense of humour and her bubbly personality have all been appreciated in our time with us. I hope she will keep in touch.
Lola went to bed at 11.30 last night and slept till 7.30am. We both woke up at 7.30. listened - no barking- and feared the worst. I was convinced she'd eaten something poisonous in the garden yesterday and had died in the night! David went tearing downstairs to find her sitting up in her crate, gazing out at him! Out to the garden to do her business, a quick runaround then back in for breakfast. Happy Lola. Happy us.
We have friends coming for dinner the evening so David is out in the garden with her just now letting her tire herself out. Her dinner has been splint into two. She's had some Aberdeen Angus mince and crunchies and will get a chicken wing later to keep her occupied whilst we eat dinner. Usual porridge for supper.
Our friends are dog lovers and haven't met her yet so I suspect she's in for a lot of tummy tickles tonight.
It's a dog's life! :-))
