Mare Humorum

Another moon blip today this time with the above named Mare Humorum picking up the light nicely with the Gassendi crater sitting just above it. Its amazing what you can get out of a straightforward hand held 300mm lens. My Nexstar Scope arrived back from the menders today so this means I will now be able to embark on some more serious astro photography.

As for the day itself, It passed very pleasantly indeed particularly with my new gift making its debut. Also bumped into fellow blipper Speedbird on the way home. Weekend seems to be approaching at a nice pace for a change......
