Skimmng stones at sunset
A lovely day , started nice and sunny, clouded over but by 10.30 the sun was out again and stayed hot and sunny until sunset.
A busy day in the garden, David was cutting down a hedge that has become overgrown and Mike was tidying up other areas of the garden. I also did some more cutting back and planting.
As a reward and because David's internship finished this week we went to Cromarty for Pizza. Luckily we had phoned through our order as they were VERY busy. Delicious as always , we did try and eat outside but we were joined by a Red Setter who wanted a piece of his own, no way was he getting some even with those begging eyes !
We had watched the sunset while waiting and David found a few stones to skim. An almost full moon (waxing Gibbous, illumination 86% ) was rising behind us and swallows flew by our heads getting ready to roast.
A tiny little visitor greeted us when we got home.
