Walking the dogs

We had a family task today.... The husbands work colleague who lives in our village was out for the day at Burghley horse trials, so asked if we could walk her dog, her mothers dog and her friends two dogs.  Of course we could. We had a great time, three very excited dogs, one older, less interested dog - she made a perfect dog for the eldest boy to lead, which utterly delighted him.  

I feel like I've had my exercise for the day, up at 6 for a run, then a walk early afternoon to try and get the youngest to go to sleep (I failed).  Then a dog walk - not that it was very long, but I was carrying the youngest on my back.  And of course, bed later than intended.... again.
