Oh what a lovely time we had .....

........ the day we went to Birkheads Secret Gardens !!
We thought that we would meet about 30 minutes further on down the M1/A . So the northern family and KJD and I meet at this destination ( arranged by the sisters last night ). It worked so well , roamed around the beautiful gardens , had coffee and cakes . Eventually we parted company at 2.20pm K took the 1st drive deciding to go off the A1 for a late lunch early dinner, her 10 minute drive took us a little long ( only to find we could have got there in 3/4 minutes by leaving @ Blythe, ) we went to a brilliant Spanish Tapas restaurant , yummy food then got back on the road ( the right way!) with me driving. At the Cambridge A14 services we changed drivers K then drove the rest of the way home arriving home at 9.40pm ( not bad going ) . It was a really calm end to our short visit, we hope it helped a little .

Thankful ..... for KJD's company and to share the driving, thank you oh daughter of mine!!

P.S. Beautiful gardens must not be hidden so tomorrow will be a collage of our Saturday visit!!!
